Jacklyn Johnson

Exactly two years ago today my friend Jacklyn Johnson was playing basketball. She went up for a dunk and more than expected came down. The whole 750 lb basketball goal fell on top of her with the rim coming within two inches of decapitating her. As luck was on her side, Jacklyns basketball fell under the backbaord as the rim destroyed her throat and halted the fall of the rim. If it were not for that basketball i would be out one amazing friend. Since it isnt cancer or a popular thing i feel like Jacklyn hasnt gotten the attention and love she deserves. We can not forget how horrible this was and still is. Last weekend as you heard on announcments Jacklyn had surgery number 40. While a staggering number it is horrifying to think that a 16 year old girl has to do this. I give you all this website in the hope that you will take this seriously.

Ive grown up with Jacklyn and she is like my little sister. When this happened i was instantly there with my family. Long nights at the hospital making taco bell runs for all the guests and making the nurses angry by having way more than four people in the room with her. It was really horrifying to watch it all happen and i really hope that at least some of you will take a few minutes from your day and let Jacklyn know that your with her.

Bin Ladens Legacy

In documents found by SEAL Team 6 analysts found many things about Bin Laden that we previously did not know. For one he was depressed and very upset with the workings of Al Queda. The part that really stuck out to me though was the fact that he knew his end was near and was searching for a way to make sure his legacy lived on. For the evil terrorist mastermind there seemed a simple solution. Kill Barack Obama. However it is much easier said than done and was obviously never successful.

For the worlds most wanted man I am extremely surprised that he thought he would have to worry about his legacy. He coordinated the 9/11 attacks and will always be remembered for that. Of course who am I to understand the workings of a sociopath? He obviously had a misconstrued view of the world if he strayed that far from Islam to try to help it.
